Paris – Dome des Invalides. Inside the Museum of the Army, among many other memorabilia, there are cabinets filled with hundreds of miniature soldiers, from ancient to modern times, dressed exactly as ready for the battle, from their headgear to their shields, swords and rifles.
Of course many of them represent Napoleonic-era soldiers and of course you can find there the Emperor himself, saddened and thoughtful, still mourning for his lost empire…
